Hi,

I tested the 3 methods without success.
Have you antoher idee ?

Thanks
François Créach
Dear Customer,
Thank you for posting!
According to your post, I understand that you cannot install Windows 2003 SP2.
Suggestion 1.
==============
If you have installed any third party antivirus programs or firewall programs, please temporarily remove them and test the issue again.
Suggestion 2.
==============
1. Closed all open programs.
2. Rename the %Systemroot%\System32\Catroot2 folder.
3. Run services.msc and make sure that the "Cryptographic Services" is not Disabled.
4. Make sure that Windows folder and Windows\System32\CATROOT is not hidden.
5. Open Internet Explorer, click "Tools", and then click "Internet Options". On the "Content" tab, click "Certificates", on the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" tab, Make sure thatthe "Microsoft Root Authority" certificate is listed. Double click it to make sure that it is fine.
Suggestion 3.
==============
I suggest we first restart the computer in Safe Mode with Network to see if the SP2 can be installed in this mode. Safe Mode loads a minimally protected-mode configuration, disabling Windows device drivers and using the standard VGA display adapter.
1. Restart the computer.
2. Keep pressing F8 key until the Windows Startup menu appears.
3. Choose the Safe Mode with Network, and press Enter.
Note: Some third party applications and hardware devices cannot be used during Safe Mode.
1. Click "Start", click "Run", type "regedit" (without the quotation marks), and then click "OK".
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Non-Driver Signing
3. Right-click the "Policy" binary value, and then click "Modify".
0000 02
Press DELETE to remove the current value (02 in this example), and then type "0" (without the quotation marks) (the current value will now appear as 00).
5. Click "OK", and then quit Registry Editor.
Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Tom Zhang, MCSE 2003

Dear Customer,

1) Click Start, and then click Run.

Hi,

I have installed all the updates except :
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (32 bits x86)
Windows internet explorer 7 for windows 2003
And also :
KB928416
KB909520
KB911564
KB917734

The error is always the same one.

Thanks for your help.
PS : Are you sure that the sp2 is compatible with windows 2003
enterprise (not standard)?
Dear Customer,
I just wanted to say hi, and to see how things are going. I haven't heard back from you yet and I was wondering if there are any updates on the service request.
Thanks.
